Course Information

SIMSREE offers the Masters of Management Studies (MMS) course, a Two Year Full -Time post graduate degree course affiliated to the University of Mumbai, since 1983. This course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.  The program is conducted under the directions of the University of Mumbai with specializations offered in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Operations, Systems and HR.

Program Structure: The first semester is combined for all specialisations and one is required to select their specialisation in the 2nd semester itself.

Eligibility Criteria

 The eligibility criteria for applying to the CET are as follows:

  1. You must be a graduate with a minimum aggregate score of 50%  (45% in case of candidates domiciled in Maharashtra and belonging to the Reserved Categories).
  2. You must have appeared for an examination considered equivalent to graduation by the college or the DTE.
  3. You can also apply if you are a final year student of graduation and expect to complete your degree by the time of admission.

Selection Procedure/ Admission

Students who intend to pursue a Master of Management Studies (M.M.S.) degree must pass an enterance examination administered by the respective authorities.
For taking admisssion in this programme, applicants must crack the MAH-MBA CET Exam sucessfully in order to be considered.
The selection of Students for M.M.S. programme is conducted through the common admission process i.e. CAP Rounds; carried out by DTE, Maharashtra.

  1. After MBA CET results are declared, go to https://cetcell.mahacet.org/
  2. Follow the schedule mentioned on the website
  3. Register in the cap rounds
  4. Select SIMSREE college in the college preference and wait for cap round results
  5. If a seat is allocated to you, visit college

Programme/Course Framework

The Course duration of two years is divided into four semesters. The first semester is combined for all specialisations and one is required to select their specialisation in the 2nd semester itself.The first and the second semester is same for all the students enrolled in this program. After summer internship project(s), students choose their intended area of specialization i.e. Finance, Marketing, Operations, System and Human resource. All of the disciplines taught here place a strong emphasis on dynamic, practical, and industry-relevant knowledge and skills.
